The art of the 1960s and 1970s and artists like Peter Max and Andy Warhol that graced the pages of Life Magazine and other publications made an impression on Mary growing up. The era of psychedelics, lots of color, and flashy comic books! Living in different areas of the country from the East Coast to the Southwest and Midwest gave her ideas for her pop art series featuring blondes, brunettes, redheads, and silvers of women. She also enjoys doing a variety of landscapes, portraits of people and pets, and other commission work.
