Daniel Castaneda, aka Sedra D’, is a self-taught BIPOC artist from Mexico City. He discovered his talent for design at a young age, inspired by his cultural roots. After encountering graffiti at 15, he embraced the underground culture and began incorporating his tag, Sedra, into his artwork. Seeking to change perceptions of graffiti, he transitioned to creating landscapes and murals. This shift earned him recognition and commissions from local businesses. In 2010, he moved to the U.S. and quickly secured his first mural project, marking the beginning of his American journey. Sedra D’ continues to share his cultural influences through his art in streets and galleries, leaving a lasting impact on the urban landscape.
